Mont Orgueil Castle

Mont Orgueil is the medieval castle towering over Gorey harbour on Jersey’s east coast — the island’s most photogenic landmark and its best half-day heritage visit. Expect steep stairs, warren-like staircases and towers, and wide views across to the French coast. Allow two to three hours; it is run by Jersey Heritage.
